The EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a standardized international document that provides detailed information on the environmental and human impacts of a product's production cycle. The EPD declaration requires a life cycle assessment of the product, which measures resource and energy efficiency, environmental and human pollution throughout the product production chain. The structured data shall be transmitted to an independent third party for evaluation. Successful evaluation of the products results in an EPD declaration, which is published in international databases. The environmental product declaration (EPD) of the product is prepared in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards.
